Personal Profile

I am interested in development of the new methods for muskulo-skeletal (MSK) MRI, especially for cartilage, menisci, ligaments and tendons. The quantitative MSK methods provide the insight into connective tissues differently from morphological imaging. I’ve been developing the methods for collagen network assessment (using T2/T2* mapping, texture analysis). Bi-component T2* analysis and its peculiarities are also of my interest. I am also keen on developing all kinds of MR data processing (using IDL, MatLab, C++, Python) related to bi-exponential fitting, automated tissue segmentation abd registration from MR images and the application of artificial intelligence.
