Vladimir Juras

MR Physicist

Personal Profile

I am interested in development of the new methods for muskulo-skeletal (MSK) MRI, especially for cartilage, menisci, ligaments and tendons. The quantitative MSK methods provide the insight into connective tissues differently from morphological imaging. I’ve been developing the methods for collagen network assessment (using T2/T2* mapping) especially for Achilles tendon and menisci. Bi-component T2* analysis and its peculiarities are also of my interest. All kind of MR data processing (using IDL, MatLab, C++, Python) is also my favourite topic
